I woke up this morning – the most beautiful of all mornings – Easter morning – and dug my laptop out of my backpack, where it has been hidden away since Thursday. With a Herculean effort, I essentially dropped off the social media planet. I am in the midst of a family gathering. When kids get married and movie away, the moments that avail themselves to reunite are harder to come by, and appreciated more. Right now we are all together in a house in Washington, Utah, surrounds by beautiful weather and some of God’s most creative handiwork.
For three days and three nights I went dark, (The symbolism was purely coincidental.) but I wanted to extend an Easter Greeting this morning and take a moment to reassure those who asked that I am fine, But today’s post will be short.
May we find those things that our souls crave this Easter:
All of these are attainable. Here. Now. Immediately. Through the miraculous Atonement of Jesus Christ, our Savior.
May the Holy Ghost reaffirm to our hearts that:
- Christ lives
- He suffered
- He died
- He rose again.
- He loves.
My love and hope to all of you on this beautiful Easter morning,
